Fake-death stories and imaginary-person stories piss me off overall, even though I know people pull that crap all the time. I guess it's the attention-whore aspect that annoys me.

Ohhh, don't even get me started on her behavior when we were friends. It completely fits with what's happening now, just not to such a degree. I'll link up a couple posts that give detail later when I'm not at work.
Hey, you're Virago on jf, right? I'm senor_pinata, though that's probably evident by now. :) All the people sticking up for her? I can't comment on the anons, but all of the signed posts knew her online. ONLINE. Of the people who knew her IRl, all agree that she's fucked in the head.
I had class with her on 9/11/01, and something seemed "off" with her story even then. (...of course, it's hard to take someone seriously when all they talk about are muses inside their head and various physical maladies.) AND I FELT GUILTY FOR NOT FEELING SORRIER FOR HER! Bah. She needs help.
I think most people who knew her IRL sensed the "offness" but who would ever want to believe that it could be THAT off? Becky suggested that she might really believe this guy existed, and I think it's a real possibility. Not everyone who has "muses" is crazy, but she takes it a step beyond.
Guh. She can be as crazy as she wants but it's shitty to manipulate people like this. She really does need help, but god knows she'll probably never get it if the only friends she has keep enabling her.
