OMG!  I am so wounded that the characterization is flawed in a fic that was meant to have the substance of wet cotton candy!  And lo, I am in tears because the truth of yaoi has been shown to me, and I have no choice but to bow before the God of Yaoi and his Great Golden Cock Ring, except I never had a problem with yaoi, but what does that matter!

It is the sorrow of my life that I cannot comment to this `frozen flame' (shit, so it was HERE all the time?  I wasted too many hours looking for it in Chrono Cross!) because it has been BAHLEETED!  She sure showed me!

*wipes tears away*  Thank you, MF.  I mean that from the bottom of my heart.  You brought laughter and good cheer to a night otherwise filled with the annoyance of OCI treasurer meetings.  Can I write you a drabble or something as thanks?

I think it's just a little unfair of her to proclaim OOC-ness on a fic of a pairing she doesn't even like, because I don't spend a lot of time reading V/M and therefore don't really know what kind of character-bastardizations even happen. But then, I don't exactly seek out and read fics of pairings I'm not even a fan of.

That so doesn't surprise me. I went and checked out recent postings, and I love how she refers to Knives and Legato as obviously having true love. First off, it's not obvious that they were ever together in a sexual way. Second, OMFG TRUE LOVE? I really hope she was being facetious with that, because while I can see some sort of twisted substitution/worship thing going on, the idea that Legato is capable of ANY sort of actual love is ludicrous. He's a nihilist, full-stop. Also, he is a hell of a lot creepier and in a fuckin' COFFIN in the manga.
