Studying for a freaking tiny little geo quiz sucks muchly, especially when the quizzes make up 50% of the lab grade, which is...I don't know how much of the final grade. Hopefully Prof'll *finally* have our exams back (that we took *last* Friday) so I'll know if I'm the right track. Right now I'm on me second wind of the evening, courtesy of Barq's Root Beer. Staying up until three thirty AM with Val and Joe MSTieing Sailor Moon does leave one drained. Quite fun, though.

BGSU lost again this week. By now I'm used to it, but for once I actually cared about the game. In the last quarter, just one touchdown would have put us a point ahead for the game. They made it to the freaking one yard line...TWICE. And twice they couldn't do it! Arrrgh. It was so frustrating. The band could have done better. Speaking of the band, it was somewhat freezing here and actually began to *snow*! More like chunky white hail, actually. It started shortly before pregame...and ended after. It started again right before halftime...and stopped right as we got off the field! We're cursed I tell you. Ah well, to quote Dr. Toney, the sun always shines on the Falcon Marching Band! Even if it's behind thick layers of clouds...

Shakespeare paper's due Thursday. I like my intro, like the topic, like the play, like the prof. Don't like the fact that I frittered the day away and didn't actually write anything. Hopefully I'll get my ass in gear. I'm farther than a lot of people in the class--I *know* what I'm writing about, and I understand what the play is about. Yay for Othello, you filthy murdering bastard.

Went out to Mickey D's with David for dinner. *rolls eyes* We would've gone to someplace less fast foody, but theoretically I was getting lots of work done. He's fun. On the way back he put his arm around me, which was nice. I was using him as a wind shield at the time, but it was his idea. This whole dating thing mystifies me in an amused sort of way. I suppose I'm sort of spoiled--all this fanfic in my various genres, all about how the perfect couple just *knew*, just *felt* something right away. Doesn't always hapen that way in meatspace, and I'm getting used to the idea of getting to know people more slowly. Not that I wouldn't mind a nice smooch.

Off I fly to the mineralogy worksheet...
