And for those who have seen it...who won, Freddy or Jason? I'm definitely not a horror fan but for some reason I'm really curious.

I can't speak for myself as I haven't seen it yet (it's at the top of my get-next list now), but one of the things I've heard about it is that it is femmeslashy as hell. So at least you're not the only person who thinks that, although I can't cite exact sources.

Me... I think, for some reason, I'd want Freddy to win... if only because Robert Englund out of his Freddy costume is a real goofball. =)
