Brief tired update

Anime screening was mad fun. Di Gi Charat screws with your head, nyu. Jin Roh was a good movie, but definitely not happy...not on my list of ones to see again, but not a waste of time. AMVs were all good, and I saw some funny ones I hadn't come across before. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust rocked. The animation was cool, the story was great, and the dub was actually good, too. Val and I have added D to our stable of Dark-Haired Men of Angst. Silly note: it took me forever to realize they were calling D a dhampir because of his parentage. I kept thinking they were calling him a "Danpiel" like a family name or something. Duh. *g* I wore my goth cheerleader getup and was proclaimed to be "delicious." Um...thanks Josh. Or something. I think I did a good job in all of my shininess as Eric's lovely raffle-ticket-pulling assistant. You'd think people would stay around for the raffle if they paid for the tickets, though. I pulled one guy's name out twice and he wasn't there. Eric's roommate got one of the J-Idol pr0n dvds, so perhaps we shall get a glimpse of the Phucket Islands yet.

Eesh, needtosleep. How did it get this late? I really am too much of a nightowl for my own good. Tomorrow morning, I'm dragging Eric and Val home with me. Gameworks and Easton showing for Val! What fun!

I like this song entirely too much. The music is good, but the lyrics also make sense--unheard of for an anime opening! Must watch more Eva soon. Megan, I heart you for sending me these tapes. Well, for other reasons, too, but also for sending tapes.

oh heh I love that song. *g* andrew loves evangelion (he has all the dvds) and he was trying to get me hooked so he gave me the eps he had on tape. I dunno, I think I just have a thing for anime music. it's amusing :)
