It's good to live in NW Ohio

We get a Canadian station that actually shows the Olympics instead of doing tape-delay or other shite. I like it! Another good thing to come out of the giant frozen parking lot (j/k j/k j/k) other than Cadbury's chocolate and coupon-like money.

Cross-country skiing is pretty cool. I know naught about it but the first race was fairly exciting. Heavens, I think I might be an Olympic Watcher this year. Until yesterday, I didn't even know when they started. Niftay.

::pokes jaina with her hockey stick:: frozen parking lot???? hmph! cadbury's choccy come from England deary. And yes the CBC coverage is 10 times better then the NBC coverage. i watched CBC for the opening, they didn't have any commerical breaks during the ceremonies last night, where as nbc cut to commerical when the dixie chicks came on stage.

*g* Just kidding about the parking lot thing, you know I love you guys. And I know that Cadbury's is from England, but England is much further away than Canada. I can get Crunchie's from Canada. Therefore, I will praise and love Canada for being my Crunchie gateway.

The opening ceremonies were tres cool. The "coming round the mountain" song and dance made me wonder what I was tripping on, but overall it was really nice. I think I'll watch Canadian coverage during these Games. ^_^

how far from Canada do you live? Because I live about an hour and a half away, and yet we don't get CBC while they do in seattle, which is probably two and a half hours away from the CA border. And it pisses me off, mainly because without CBC I can't indulge my obsession with royal canadian air farce. :(

Hmmm...not quite sure. We're in the NW corner of Ohio, so usually people drive to Detroit and cross the border there. Close enough to go there for a weekend on a whim, I know.
