Movie: The Man Who Wasn't There. It's the next to last movie I saw. The last movie I saw was Not Another Teen Movie. It was okay but I think it could have been funnier and more original with the parody. (I am aware that 'original parody' is an oxymoron).

The Man Who Wasn't There is great. In the style of old film noirs. You leave he theater thinking "If only that guy whould have..."

Book: The Baron in the Trees, by Italo Calvino... Because it's one of my favorite books and I recomend it to anyone who'll listen.

CD: The Ventures Christmas album. Sorry I can't remember the exact title.

lj user: iamwells or badcat. Both are old high school friends. iamwells is an actor/writer/photographer/web designer and all round neat guy. badcat is one of my best friends. She does document conservaation at the national archive. She makes it all so interesting. She got to handle parts of the Roswell crash material and things like that. There are a lot of things at her job she's not allowed to discuss. How cool is that?

Website: www.loc.gov is always interesting. Especially the "American Memory" section. You can download just about every film Thomas Edison ever made. Thought that could be frustrating if you don't have a high speed connection. Some of the films are not that exciting, but some are really interesting. If you don't have high speed there are always tons of cool photos as well. It's a good site for script research if you need anything historical.
