Class Scheduling

All went as planned--got all the classes I wanted. The only difference is that I decided to save the fiction workshop for later and take my VCT photography class now because I'm ahead of schedule with the CW degree--it's the VCT that I need to push. Plus, Dr. Poor did a really cool photography lecture yesterday and now I'm excited about it. Now I just need a camera...

The Buffy musical was excellent last night. We didn't actually see it until afterwards because Becky, Josh, Val, Eric and I went to see Ghost World. We were a little late, Eric and Becky more so because soooomeone was walking back from Founders when we wanted to leave ;) but it was still cool. Val and I bonded with Josh on the way there--Hi, Josh! *waves to [livejournal.com profile] magi_balthasar--and I think I can finally say that yes, I like him. He's very quiet when you first meet him, a lot like Becky was, but each time I saw him he said a few more words and now he's funny and shite.

Anyways, the movie. Was very good. Wanted Thora Birch's wardrobe. Wanted to give Steve Buscemi a hug. Oh, and if you can, see the movie with a long-term couple named Becky and Josh. It's funnier that way. Lots of good acting. I have a couple ideas on the end, but mostly I'm smiling and nodding and going "yah, that was good." Too bad the movie lobby didn't have a Dance Dance machine...I yapped with Mike for a while yesterday and now I want to visit him and play free Dance Dance soooo bad...it's some cruel joke that I have a close friend with his own arcade machine--IN COLORADO. Sigh.

Back to the musical. Becky and Val and I squealed like little psycho fangirls when Spike came onscreen and imitated the three furies on Angel: "Mmmm, Spike." Val came out and proclaimed that she wanted Spike to get some s Slayer booty. Another has fallen! Becky just really, really loves Spike. And she was inspired enough by the musical to start writing lyrics to a musical version of the Mary Sue Trigun story. I'm highly amused at the notion of a song about "Val's" angst about "me" boffing her great-grandfather. Mmmm, Vash.

*smiles*

Gee... thanks, really. I feel so loved. I'm glad that you liked the movie. I think that I'm mostly quiet, at first, because I'm trying to figure out what kind of person you are. That way, I have some vague idea of what makes ya laugh and don't say anything that you might think is too stupid. I prefer instead to just do stupid things (like forget where I parked my car *sigh*).

Squeal City, baby. Squeal City.

*melts into a puddle of Spike/Buffy shipper goo*

I know it's wrong and messed up and doesn't work. I DON'T CARE!
