And you don't seem to understand
A shame you seemed an honest man
And all the fears you hold so dear
Will turn to whisper in your ear
And you know what they say might hurt you
And you know that it means so much
And you don't even feel a thing

I am falling, I am fading
I have lost it all

And you don't seem the lying kind
A shame then I can read your mind
And all the things that I read there
Candle lit smile that we both share
and you know I don't mean to hurt you
But you know that it means so much
And you don't even feel a thing

I am falling, I am fading, I am drowning
Help me to breathe
I am hurting, I have lost it all
I am losing
Help me to breathe

"Help me to breathe"

I love that idea. I've used it in so many of my poems that it seems a little overused (must ban myself from it ;->) but it is *such* a wonderful image

Isn't it? Too bad I can't take credit. *g* These are the lyrics to "Duvet" by Boa--SUCH a wonderful song, as well as the theme to Serial Experiments Lain.

The accoustic version is even prettier.

It does seem lovely. Can I get the mp3 from somewhere?

Well, you could do a search on Morpheus or another file trading program, or I could just send them to you after I get my regular computer back this weekend.

That would be funky - maybe once I go back to Manchester and have my own computer hooked up to ADSL? (in about a fortnight's time)

Again, thanks loads for the icons btw :-)
