So I meant to update this sooner

As well as thank everyone individually. I've fallen behind despite having a lot less to do.

Anyway, I'm keeping on keeping on. The first week I was pretty zen, then anxiety started hitting off and on, but I'm sending out resumes, working with at least one placement agency so far, and exploring options. My friends have been pretty great--everyone wants to feed me, and I had some awesome recent visits with the my nerdy RP friends in PA and irenak for zombie prom in Philly. (We reached the conclusion that we are Old, because two hours was all the zombie prom we needed.)

Getting laid off sucks, but...mmm, I'll handle it. I don't really have much to say about it right now but I didn't want to immediately jump to frivolous lj posting without following up. Thanks, guys.

Most useless comment of all time, but just wanted to say you're in my thoughts, and I dearly hope things get better. I don't know of how much help I can be, since it's difficult intervening for this kind of stuff online, but a lot of my friends and professors are still in the journalism branch, and I can at least ask if they know of any openings.
