Got up "early" today to practice trumpet & exercise. Prayers for a forlorn marching band geek would be welcome. I really hope band camp goes all right. I hate the nervousness that always precedes it.

Even though i was never in high-school band (or high-school for that matter) band camp always makes me really nostalgic for the 15-17 year old times (My then-girlfriend now-wife was a band geek). Lord Boognish be with you.

Ahhh...Band Camp. The heat. The snobby, slave driving drum major and majorettes.(you'd think band nerds would know that they aren't better than everyone else.) The overwhelming wish to tell a few people where they could shove their flutes. The heat. The marching. The heat.
