I DON'T UNDERSTAND

So Bleach was awesome this week. No, the anime. No, the filler anime. I don't get it either!!!

Things I loved in this week's episode:
-It shows Rukia showing her shikai to Kaien for the first time, and it is cute as buttons
-Sode no Shirayuki (who remains purty) is basically killing redshirt shinigami easily by freezing them in ice
-When Rukia shows up and starts fighting with her other half, Ichigo shows up to protect her and they have this exchange:
"Be careful. She's tough."
"I know. She is your zanpakutou." ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
-Ichigo then proceeds to get his ass kicked
-Rukia proceeds to LOL NO Shirayuki, and sets her free to be an independent sword, no longer beholden to Rukia's will...so she can pin Shirayuki in place and damn near blow her up with kidou

The animation is nothing to write home about--what else is new--but I was thoroughly entertained. Watch out for rains of frogs and oceans of blood, because Bleach filler is great and nothing makes sense anymore.

But yes, this arc is surprisingly good. I'm actually reading the recaps AT WORK when I used to not care last time. And dling the episodes. Which makes my physical presence here even WORSE. *cries moar*

All of the sword spirits get a humanoid form, but the fact that Zabimaru is (TWO!) humans makes it pretty clear that it's not their real ones, it's an effect of whatever it is that made them pop out of the swords. So they can still be whatever KT decides they are, down the line.

Did you see it yet? Thoughts? There was a lot to like, butvit was worth it just for the unexpected Kaien flashback. SO fucking cute. (And more or less compliant with Undertow, ahahaha.)

DUDE. I know. It's such a good filler arc! And yeah, that exchange between Ichigo and Rukia? EEEEEEeee. :o

Last night I couldn't because youtube was being STUPID and wouldn't synch the sound with the images, but I managed today! I LIKED IT! Even though I don't get how blasting each other apart with kido breaks the bond, but it's pretty! (And I wanna see Rukia use that sword freezing thing in a fight now. WAAAAAAAAAH.)

YES TO UNEXPECTED KAIEN FLASHBACK! He is proud like a daddy, but she is blushing! It is kinda lolariously cute! And all the CLB puns didn't help so YEAH THEY PROBABLY HAD SEX SOMEWHERE. MAYBE MIYAKO WATCHED. (Btw, is it just me or does Shirayuki look a TON like Miyako???)

Long story short, CAN IT BE NEXT WEEK PLZ

I am genuinely enjoying this arc too. Such a change. Such a nice change.

(But cannot wait for more detail on certain Captains' zanpakutou.)
