Schna Strikes Back
It is a good day! Says the girl who has clearly been reading Martha Stewart's Erotic Journal a little too much. I just got off the phone from Val in New York. I was absurdly pleased to hear that my phone number is written on the back of her calling card. Yay, she loves me! Boy, it's too bad we're both straight. The way we carry on, we'd probably make a great couple.
So yesterday Eric, Jeff and I went to Cedar Point. Again. Boy, I probably sound like some kind of amusement park fanatic here, don't I? But it was the only day I had off this week and soon I go to band camp, so we went. Becky didn't end up coming after all, which made us sad, but there will be plenty more chances, so no worries. We finally went on the canoe ride, which made Jeff happy, and we Dance Dance'd our asses off in the Arcade. We still kind of suck, but we're definitely getting better. I feel like I've sort of gained my DDR legs. I'm certainly not perfect, but finally when I see an arrow sequence coming up the screen I can say "Oh, that goes this way" and do it right. Most of the time. I've finally made the association of screen and feet. And i beat Eric, which earns me bragging rights since he owns the game, but in the end he got the highest score. The coolest thing was that at the very end of the night, the Raptor line was nonexistent so we went on it three times in a row, four times for the whole day. This gave Eric the chance to stalk the guy in the Guster shirt. On the way home, there was thick fog from Sandusky to Columbus, which was really annoying and spooky. I told them if we drove through a transparent figure, I would cheerfully go insane. It was really odd fog, literally clouds just sitting on the ground. At various times when it waslighter, we could see cloud banks five feet above our heads. Interesting.
More to say, but it's time for my eye appointment. So...later.
