I'm okay with this score. But this is in NO WAY an eight-grade science test. I definitely needed at least three years of high school science to do this. Especially the physics questions - I never even touched those when I was thirteen.
I got a B+ too. But I cry foul on the comet question, to which the answer is 'at least three of the above'. Comets cover a continuum of material types - the NASA probe that recently brought back a sample of comet dust turned out to have visited one of the less common icy comets.
Eighth grade science quizzes should be set by people who went some way beyond eighth grade knowledge themselves.

The thing that drives me nuts about these quizzes is that they never show you the correct answers after the fact. I want to learn, dammit!
...although I'd like to think I at least got the one about red light correct.
