Feh! I'm trying to edit Interlunium enough to release to the unsuspecting public...bwahaha...HAHAHAHA....*suddenly realizes that nothing is funny*...and I don't have a complete copy on this computer. My bastard of a machine upstairs has neither internet connection nor un-broken disk drive, so I can't e-mail it to myself or save it. No one I know has had a complete copy so far. I don't think I've asked Val, but if she doesn't have one, then I'm forced tp print it and re-type it here or wait until I can borrow an external zip drive from Mr. Honaker or Josh...which could be Friday, but I want it now. A blessing for the whiny fic-editing writers.
Last night was tres cool. Rich was being his uber-annoying self. Like, he'd pass Kyle mopping, make a fart noise and be all "ewwww Kyle, control yourself". Didn't this behavior go out of style in, like, fourth grade? Reminds me of Kindergarten, actually. There was this one girl who always disobeyed the teacher and generally screwed around and partway through the year they sent her home and said that she wasn't mature enough for kindergarten and needed to wait a year. This is the same type of thing. Rich got a job for money, but he's so not ready for what having a job entails. Once again, I had to invoke the "Because I TOLD you to" clause. During closing time, when Kelly is doing the deposit in the back, I'm usually in charge of keeping everyone moving. Oh joy. I've already told him that I don't care if he thinks I'm a bitch, I will be a bitch if it means we get out of there faster, and I meant it. Kyle was actually very mature and responsible last night. He explained to Rich a few of his problems--that it wasn't that we hated him, but his attitude was just not good. I don't know, he just seemed very patient. Kyle's only been here a month or two, but he's doing great. He's already the fastest backup person we have, so he always gets put on drive-through. Whenever I'm taking orders on the headset, I never have to get anything with Kyle around.
Anyways, the cool part. I've been getting stuck with Rich a lot lately--he always seems to be backing me up, and pissing me off along with it. Kelly was grateful that I put up with him and kept him from bothering her, so...I'm getting two extra hours of pay! One for last week's paycheck, one for next week's. I was gleeful. Kelly can be very cool sometimes. I told her I'd be glad to put up with The Annoyance Bringer if it meant money bonuses. ^.^
I love Guster. I knew I did already, from the songs I downloaded, and I had no doubt that I'd love the rest, from listening to Eric's and Sarah's ravings, but not I do officially. I bought "Lost and Gone Forever" last week and finally got around to listening to the whole thing straight through today. It's fabulous! "Either Way" is still my favorite Guster song, but "Barrel of a Gun" is grpwing on me like fungus in a dark, warm place.
*randomthought* Just how do they sing so high in "All the Way Up to Heaven", anyways? Geez, it sounds like the lead singer got kicked in a bad place. Pretty song, though.
I'm liking the Shrek soundtrack too.
The second boss in Vagrant Story killed me the other night. He's armor and air! How does one kill that? Of course, my heart wasn't really in the battle. I'll have to try again later.
This post is rapidly dwindling into babble.

Re: ooohhhh
The Shrek soundtrack rocks:
1-Stay Home--Self
2-I'm a Believer--Smash Mouth
3-Like Wow!--Leslie Carter
4-It Is You (I Have Loved)--Dana Glover
5-Best Years of Our Lives--Baha Men
6-Bad Reputation--Halfcocked
7-My Beloved Monster--Eels
8-You Belong to Me--Jason Wade
9-All Star--Smash Mouth
10-Hallelujah--Rufus Wainwright
11-I'm On My Way--The Proclaimers
12-I'm a Believer (reprise)--Eddie Murphy
13-True Love's First Kiss--Original Score
I like 7,8, 10, 12, and 13 best. Wish they'd included the song about Du Loc and more of the original score, though.
