Manalive!
Night typing is a bad idea, because any bugs around the house cluster towards the monitor light. Grr. Stupid mosquitoes. I'm getting eaten alive.
Sigh. Midnight is an early bedtime for me, but it still seems to be too late to get anything creative done. I can yammer on AIM and bounce around the net for hours after work, but I never seem to put in motion all the ideas I get when I'm bored at work. Tomorrow I get off at 9, so maybe then. Not looking forward to a ten-hour day, even with two breaks. Gah. The air conditioning isn't strong enough at work, I get stinky and sticky, and I think the customers are starting to suspect that I consider them morons when they don't give me size or flavor. *sigh* I hope I get a few more early days, early finishes soon--I can usually get more done that way. Besides, me bitching about work and fic is just boring. I need to have the brainpower to post something intelligent.
Char is truly a gem. It's rare to have a friend who not only tolerates your obsession with your own crap, but understand and encourages you to be even geekier. Our motto--if it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing.
Still no flames for Bed of Nails, besides the one Megan posted here. :) Friends don't let friends get all positive feedback, I guess.
The other day, Kielle mentioned the amusing notion of a shiny objects community, since so many people have it listed as an interest. Anyone think it'd be fun? *g* Like I need more communities to join. Ah well, I have accepted my livejournal addiction. And almost my lj-birthday! Seems like that's coming up for a lot of people on my friends list.
Must go now and sleep before I puff up to a perfect circle. Damn mosquitoes.
