Makeover time
Decided I'd had this style long enough--now it's all pretty! It's fun to choose how everything looks. I'm tempted to really learn how to customize lj, but there are other things I want to do more, and time only goes so far.
It's almost my livejournal birthday! Hard to believe it's been almost a year since I started posting. It was hard to remember to do it at first, and I didn't really pay that much attention to it. Now, I really need to join the lj-addicts community...it's so fun. And I've managed to convert at least four people! Go me. If I bring one more person to the lj fold, do I get a toaster?
Thought about playing the 9 true things, 1 lie game, but right now I don't really feel like thinking of interesting things I've done. Got the hair cut a few hours ago, but just an inch or so. I am now free of split ends. Kelly and I talked about different ways we could possibly cut it later on, but we'll see. I really want to bleach the highlights I've been nervous about. Either sort of light brown/dark blonde like Becky has or the icy blue stuff. I don't really like the idea of an entire head of unnaturally-colored hair, but those highlights would be cool. The parents might get pissy about it, but they'd be the only ones.
Going to see Evolution tonight. I don't care if people have been slamming it. It's my money and if I don't like it then it's my own fault. It looks deliciously dorky to me, and I'm a sucker for those kind of movies. Better than Pearl Harbor, which is what Patty wanted to see. It's weird--I watched Titanic, like Titanic, own it (rarely watch it, but that's usually true of any movies I own), but I have no real desire to see Pearl Harbor, which I'm told runs in the same vein. I would like to see Tomb Raider and Moulin Rouge still.
Good god, someone hold me--I...I actually like the new Mandy Moore song. Wait, don't kill me--I still think she's a simpering little pop star and her lyrics are dumb. It might just be the unusual guitar riff thingies I like in this. If I could get an instrumental version, that would be nice. I'm sorry. I'll go back to listening to game music and J-pop now.
Tomorrow I have to get up around 6:30 to go to my appointment to join the hospital's exercise health center. Blah. This had better be worth it.
