Monday. Blood Monday.

I tell you this, I'd like Mondays more if it weren't for that whole "getting up early" thing. I'm sore today from shoveling snow. Just the stuff around my car. I can't imagine how wrecked I'd be if Geoff's dad hadn't let him use his snowblower. The soreness isn't too bad; it actually feels pretty good to stretch. But man, I could go without the 27" we got. I'll post pics from my digital camera later. The drifts were quite tall. I almost thought I wouldn't make it to work. The Parkway was fine once I got to it, but the local streets were still covered with packed snow, which made things pretty slippery. But I managed to make it on time, huzzah. -_- I feel bad for all the people stuck because of the delayed trains. How do they clean snow off the train tracks, anyway? It's not like they can use a regular plow.

Weekend was semi-productive. Still need to do some cleaning--did the kitchen and bathroom yesterday, but not the place I spend most of my time. -_- D'oh. Goals for this week:

• Get costume components all ready for Katsucon
• Get quarters and do laundry so I can wear pants at the con. I hear pants are important, though you wouldn't know it from some cosplayers.
• Make pack list and, you know, pack
• Finish cleaning
• Put the farking jewelry box together

...yeesh, this entry is boring. I think I'll end it before I put myself to sleep.

They've got special track plow cars. They look like an overgrown cow-plow with a high-torque maintenance engine behind them.

In other news, last monday was one of those 'universal suck' days, it seems. I was having National Cranky Customers From Hell Day, and several other people I know are also having shitty mondays.

So I officially bestow upon you a sound hugging.
