Tuxedo Mask! Him so pretty.

Uranus. I thought the other senshi were a bit boring at first but now I find their interpretation of the senshi duty to be rather fascinating.

I'm told everyone in Japan really loves Ami, and I find her a bit boring.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates
Boy!Seiya. I dunno, I didn't know he was a girl at first and he's uglier as a girl than as a guy. I'm not sure if this is really a character answer as it is my "must defend the anime" mode kicking in.

I like Naru okay too.

Jupiter. Just not really interested.

Haha, well, keep in mind that a lot of this I didn't even consider when I was a kid, so you're getting this filtered.

Probably Jem. She was truly, truly outrageous.

Rukia. Girl kicks ASS.

Hmm...probably Ishida or Ichigo. I liked them well enough but now I want to give them both bundles of hugs and sex.

I'm not sure who the fandom at large loves, but perhaps Hinamori. She has a cute bun but she needs to get hold of herself.

Don Kan'onji!

My love for all of the Bleach characters is like a constantly growing orgy.

Does Renji count? I never disliked him as a character to watch, but he seemed like such an asshole at first, only now we know why.

Or maybe Kenpachi. He was kind of annoying at first but now I enjoy his boundless enthusiasm for kicking ass.

Yoruichi. She'd be great at it, you can tell.

8. The character I'd want to be like
Ishida once he's got over the petulant little must-show-up-the-death-gods thing. I like his cool determination in the face of danger.

Hinamori. I get that she's suffered a loss, but simmer down, child.

10. A pairing that I love
Oh man. Toughie. Right now Rukia/Ichigo slightly edges out Rukia/Renji but I don't think either would quite work at the moment. Ishida/Orihime is adorable, but for pure smex I'd go with Yoruichi/Ichigo or Yoruichi/Soi Fong.

Yachiru/anyone. I think I have her name right. The pink-haired muppet that rides around on Kenpachi's shoulder. I don't care if she's tons older than she looks, that's ick.

I don't really despise Ichigo/Ishida but I don't think Ichigo really knows what to do with his own dick, much less anyone else's.

Draco. I think he can be used well in fic but he is a lot shallower than people write him as in fandom.

Legato. Like Envy, he's a great villain but I don't see the slightest hint of sex appeal, and he doesn't really have that many nuances.

Meryl in some circles. She gets pegged as the bitch when there's so much more to her.

Eh, still none.

As long as I can get a guarantee of no STDs, Midvalley, because you know he's had practice.

Not one character specifically, but I'd like to have Milly's clarity of vision.

Knives, because he's being a big fuckin' baby.

10. A pairing that I love
Vash/Meryl, obviously, but I also love any kind of Wolfwood/Meryl, whether it's friendship or fuck buddies or romance (though that is much harder to do), because I think they're more alike than they realize.

11. A pairing that I despise
Knives/Vash, because imho 90% of the time the sex dumbs down a dynamic that is already wonderfully complicated and makes Vash a little bitch even when it claims it doesn't. Also incest squicks me in general, but I can think of severeal incest pairings that would work better.

I'm told everyone in Japan really loves Ami, and I find her a bit boring.

Now that's funny, b/c when I watched, I always saw Ami as the stereotypical Asian character: dutiful, studious, deferential, and smart. Whereas Serena was the stereotypical American: flighty, blonde, unmannered, and lacking in the discipline needed for her studies. Raye was more interesting to me in that she works at the temple with her grandfather, seeming traditional, but then has all that Martian rage to contend with.

I think that's why they love Ami. She exemplifies the traditional virtues or sommat. Raye rocks hardcore. I love her too. And I think X brings up an EXCELLENT point.
