1.) How's school going for you?
Not going very far, because I have two exams left and that's pretty much it.
The weird thing is that it doesn't feel that weird yet.
2.) You are allowed to hop on a flight anywhere in the world to live out the rest of your days. Money and language barriers are not a concern. Where do you go?
Somewhere warm and lush with a major airpport nearby because I don't know if I could just stay in one place. Let's say California, only transplanted onto the east coast, weather patterns be damned.
3.) Favourite ramen flavour?
Ramen has a flavor?
Chicken, probably. "Oriental" flavor is good but if I want that I'll go get actual asian food.
4.) You run away and join the circus. What's your stage name?
Glinda Shenanigans.
5.) Meow?
Purr.

1. Who do you love?
Friends. Family. Pie.
2. How much do you love me?
How much do you want me to love you?
3. What would you do if I ever went away?
Bitch about the unfinished fic.
4. Have you ever gone abroad, and if so, where?
I'm a broad every day of the week.
5. What was that sound just now?
Someone's head exploding as they discover furry porn for the first time.

1) What drew you to Trigun?
sarcasticval. She pretty much said "You will watch this OR I KEEL J00." She's scary, so I said okay. But once I got into it? The layering of the characters and the plot. I loved how everyone had nuances and you had to watch the series more than once to get everything, but not to the point that you were über-confused at the end of the first run.
2) What, to you, is the best part of the creative writing process? The part that makes the work and frustration so rewarding?
Finishing and knowing you kicked ass. This isn't something you need feedback to feel. I really enjoy the sense of accomplishment.
3) What makes a story or novel great, and not merely good? What has to be there to pull you in?
See answer #1. Layers, yo.
4) Are you really DRUNK WITH POWAH?
If I'm drunk with anything, it's rum.
5) If you could change any quality about yourself, what it would be?
I don't think I'm an overly rash person, but I'd like to do better at slowing down to think through the results of what I do or say when I get a new idea in my head. I can change this. It'll just take practice.

2. FUUUUUCK. (As the mother of a preemie, I feel fairly confident I don't speak for everyone!)
3. Shiv. Knuckles are too obvious and don't show off your creativity.
4. Young characters who are a lot smarter/more savvy than they look, seducing their unsuspecting older peers. So wrong, but so right. XD
5. So much to choose from! I think actually it's not the delusional, the wanky or the aggressively stupid-- it's all the people in the early nineties who thought they could get rich simply by throwing money at the Internet.

2.) Dunno. Out of school and hopefully with a job. Though I could still be IN school, which wouldn't be such a bad thing. I'm on the fence about getting a PhD over a MS, so we'll just have to wait and see after I complete the MS.
3.) Coke! Vanilla.
4.) FF8 slash. It's all so, so bad, but I just can't stop reading it.
5.) There are a lot of characters I'm kinda meh about, just because they have little backstory or backstory that doesn't interest me (the various GHG, etc). From the amime, I'd say the Nebraska family because they're just annoying. Manga or anime, I'd say Midvalley, not because I particularly dislike him, but I really don't see what everyone else sees in him. He's very bland and boring to me.

1. What fandom would you love to write for if only you had more time/ideas/etc?
My ADD-raddled brain would come up with a different answer depending on which day I was asked this question. For straight drama series, I'd have to say NCIS. For sci-fi series, Stargate. For anime, xxxHolic (or however the hell you capitalize it.)
2. What's the worst fic you've ever read?
Wow. There are so many. The one that comes to mind is an NCIS fic that was nominated for several awards. It wasn't jaw-droppingly bad, but the fact that the main character, in the course of five or six chapters: started struggling with his sexuality (i.e. 'woke up gay'); was diagnosed with what the author claims was MS, but sounded more like a hodge-podge of conveniently dramatic symptoms; discovered he had an illegitimate child; and was assaulted--twice, IIRC. Plus, the fic committed the sin of having two very masculine guys start acting like schmoopy teenaged girls. Also, whoever wrote the fic needs to learn that "hurt/comfort" does not mean "traumatize the main character beyond all recognition then toss him into a Hallmark card commercial." I quit reading around the time that the main character was awarded custody of the illegitimate child he'd known about for all of two weeks.
3. What's your job?
Currently, working in accounting while recovering from working in marketing and trying to find a job in communications/corporate education.
4. Who's your all-time favorite character?
Sam Vimes. No contest, no question.
5. Who's your favorite published author and why?
Terry Pratchett. He's one of the few writers who can write satire and come across as a dedicated humanist at the same time. He's tremendously funny, and at the same time, is one of the most moral (but not moralistic) writers out there. He's one of the few writers who can make me laugh and cry in the space of one paragraph. I can reread his books over and over without tiring of them (except the Rincewind ones--Rincewind annoys me).
