One of my roommates in college had that game. That was back before I became a total nerd was into computers, though, so I didn't pay much attention to it.
Is 'The 7th Guest' the one with the creepy dude in the big house that killed all the kids? I played but never got all the way through that one. That and 'Shivers'. Dang, now I suddenly have a desire to go play old computer games.
It's the one about the creepy guy who made toys and his creepy house that killed 6 people and the player is the 7th guest. You have to solve lots of puzzles and it was, as I recall, a very entertaining game. I loved it quite a lot.
