Smap pleases me

That sounds kinda bizarre, doesn't it? Thanks, Cristin, I'll never be able to talk about Smap again without thinking something sexual. *thhbbpt*

So um...there goes my vow to write in lj more. Honestly, not sure if anyone's even noticed, but so much has happened...I just slacked off. I skipped for a while when something threw me off track...for those that remember my e-mail or comments in chat (yes I do still go sometimes) my friend Ben died of leukemia. The funeral was actually several weeks ago. I feel really lousy about not keeping interested parties updated, (especially Chelle, my lovely XPFC link...sorry) but I just didn't feel like talking about it. Being with friends helped, and though I'll always miss my little buddy, I'm doing fine. His family is going to need the most prayers, because it's going to be really hard for them to go on without him. If you could spare a thought for the family of Ben Schellin tonight, it'd be much appreciated.

...okay, it might be a little random to jump to happier topics now, but I've been focusing on better things lately. Finals are the week after next (urgh...) but at least I will be free of the cesspit known as geology and the gusty BGSU campus. You people have not known wind until you've gone to school here. Brrr. If anyone wants to suggest a good research topic for Shakespeare, it'd be much appreciated.

Hot Eric is still around. We hang out, smooch a little (on the cheek so far...yes a very little. I know.) and there's definite chemistry, but no solid dateage as of yet. He's definitely a lot more fun than Boring David, who at last seems to have taken the hint.

Favorite quote of the moment: "It's not premarital sex unless you're going to get married."
