Scene: This afternoon, southbound on Rt. 68

RANDOM DRIVER: *slow slow*
JAINA: *pass pass*

Ten minutes later

RANDOM DRIVER: *pull up to like 1 foot behind Jaina, tailgate tailgate tailgate8
JAINA: OMGWTF! *speeds so as not to get hit and stoppedand raped and killed*
RANDOM DRIVER: *slow donwn*
JAINA: *cautious relief, plots how not to get raped and killed*
RANDOM DRIVER: *tailgate tailgate tailgate*
JAINA: *FREAKS OUT*
RANDOM DRIVER: *passes, pulls into driveway*
JAINA: *does not flip off in case heha a gun, feels like he is behind her the rest of the way home*

So. Yeah. The guy was obiously trying to scare me--he could've passed me earlier and didn't. I guess he was pissed that I'd passed him? I don't know. It was scary. I didn't want to go too fast and crash, but he was so close...I kept my head, so I'm proud of that.

Then I went to the football game and watched my alma mater get destroyed, so it was all good.

I know you were freaked out, but I hope you understand that I found this post amusing too. I think it is "*tailgate tailgate tailgate*" that's cracking me up.

I plot about that stuff all the time. Half of it's self-defensive thinking (imagining while I walk across the parking lot what I would do if someone attacked me at this very moment), and half of it's just curious wondering about fighting and plotting.

Sometimes people give me weird looks (I got one last week) because in conversation they pose a rhetorical question or make a half-joking general comment about "how you would do such and such violence or break into such and such bank" and I actually answer them with how I'd do it.

Like last week this one guy in my house was crouching, with his arms around his knees and balancing on the balls of his feet, and this other girl half-heartedly tapped him on the forehead to see if she could make him roll backwards (like an egg) and he said that this was the "Asian rocking position" and you couldn't shove someone who was sitting like this to knock them down. And about 5 seconds later I pointed out that yes, you could. All you would have to do is give them a really hard shove to the point of balance and you could do it. Then I added thoughtfully, or if someone were to kick you really hard you'd go right back.
And the girl says, "Like you?"
And I snap indignantly, "Hey! I don't kick people!"

Anyway, people always give me funny looks for thinking and plotting stuff out like that. It frustrates me because, really, they shouldn't have asked if they didn't want to know, and why do I get funny looks because my imagination is better and more thorough than theirs?

But, regardless, I'm glad you survived and won against the evil random driver.

People might be nervous that the election, whatever the outcome, will caouse teh economy to take a big dip. I dont know, speculating.

My sister and I have a crazy paranoia about that happening. We always don't know the mentality of those that drive and their road rage (especially in California) so we so try not to get on anyone's nerves. However, dude, that guy really is psycho. >_> I mean, it's not like you cut him off, you just passed him up. *pats xai^2* poor baby!

Oh wait! I remember something, now that you had me thinking this. When i was a passanger on a moped in Vietnam, some guys tried to run us off the road. It was SCARY. Mostly because well, Moped, falling on street, bad bad bad idea. ><
