*twitches* Must...have...more...icons...
I have so much to do this weekend/upcoming week that it's not funny. I'd list it here but I think that would just depress me. So, in happier news, tonight was ANO's last screening of the year. I spent much of it downstairs in the computer lab talking fic, but I enjoyed Read or Die and Voices From a Distant Sky. Want more/want the soundtrack. I also did the Happy Treasurer Dance for everyone. It was well received. Sat by Matt *schmoopy sigh* and found out he's transferring to UPenn next year. Fux0r! Maybe I'll just start flirting back at Brent instead. I'm not sure if it's just a him thing or if I'm SPESHUL OMG (doubtful) but he's cool and nice. And he buys lots of raffle tickets, which leads to the Happy Treasurer Dance.
Tomorrow I'm headed for Ann Arbor for a couple of hours to see Marc and Carole's new house. I might stop at Wizzywig's, too. Piro of Megatokyo is signing there at two, which is cool, but I have met him and gotten a sketch before. We'll see. I know I'm going to make myself guilty with the money-spending, but come on. Triple points day and I can get a PS2 and possibly 3 PS2 games for the price of two. I've wanted this for a while, so I think I'll handle it. It's the possibility of going for a Miroku plushie at WW's that has me worried. Sigh. I didn't mean to like this show.
Val and I are seriously considering going to ACEN. Since she can't go to Anime North, there's no real reason for me to go. The Jem thing would have been cool, and a smaller con means a better chance at Hallelujah possibly doing kind of well maybe in the AMV contest, but still...going alone? Eh. But ACEN is good because it's still cheap with the driving, has Johnny Yong Bosch *drool*, Wndee Lee and Richard Cox (hee), and also has my friend Emma's play. Well, it's being performed that weekend, and if I drive I can go. We'd stay with our club president Joe, so the room is taken care of. I'd really like to go. It's a little big, and I do get a little intimidated by really big cons for some reason (I think it's my "attendance=competition for the dealer's room" instinct kicking in) but I think it could be a lot of fun. Maybe I'll cosplay as the Spirit of Fanservice again. Not that I'm THAT sexy, but the pleather dress is pretty damn FSy.
Speaking of clothing, George flaked on me this week. Love the boy, but v. pissed at him. So I e-mailed this girl who does fabulous cosplays online and takes commissions about info. If she's not too expensive I might go with her, because I really want to be Meryl. Tiny guns rule.
That's about it.

ACEN is this weekend. Yeah, totally drop everything and come. ;) I'm also going to Otakon, which is in Baltimore the second week of August, I believe. More info can be found at www.otakon.com. Come to it, you know you want to.
