I think this is more personally crushing for me than 9-11... just because I'd never been to NY, I had no real ties to the WTC, so it was just like "massive loss of life". But I used to obsess over going into space someday, so ... this is real personal.

The space shuttle Columbia has exploded during reentry, over Texas. http://www.instapundit.com has a bunch of links to different news sources and online commentary, blog-style.
