angelinamaria at post Fest/morp 2001. That was a cool trip; I got to meet many HoEs and get to know a few that I didn't know was well.
angiihimemiya - All I knew of the other oddly-spelled Angii before Otakon was that she was Alyson's friend. She seemed nice enough on IM, but I had no idea how incredibly kooky, spastic, and all around adorable she would be. I knew she was special when she (along with Casey) greeted Grey and me at the airport wearing bunny ears and anime-painted jeans she'd made herself. She kind of stood out among all the business-suit people milling about. Over the next few days I fell in love with her and now wish to bear her children.
bejiin at Animazement this year. She's super-nice, just like online, but the hint of snark below the surface is there, too. It was awesome to put a face with a name for one of my Sailor Moon friends. Not something that happens too often. Bej rules.
cat_bastard is Jim's cat. I tried to assert my dominance, but I don't think it worked.
chuchan I met last year at school when we started up ANO. She's smart and pretty and cute and can make pokemon-noises all the time without me wanting to kill her.
dialogue was my roommate last year, but somehow we never managed to meet...er, Becky is cool. We actually met when we both sat in on a writing class during Preview Day at BG during our senior year of high school. I remember thinking she was nice and really, really quiet. I also remember musing on the future and thinking wouldn't it be funny if this chance meeting ended up with us becoming friends and roommates in the future. Who knew? ^.^
I metdrcristin in a theater class my freshman year. She said something about livejournal after we got to know each other, and I thought it was cool that she already had one. She's very cool and I wish we spent morre time together than we have in the past. Also she has cool hair.
egaumer is one of several I started up on lj. I met him freshman year when he saw a Final Fantasy VIII poster hanging in my room and stopped in to yap about it. I thought he was hot and in early journal entries you might catch a reference to hot Eric. We went out a couple times (no tongue!). He's still hot, the gayest straight man you will ever meet (love, we MUST go shopping together when you get back) is now one of my dearest friends and I really miss him.
einini is another HoE I met during morp. She puts on a hell of a picnic.
ekaterinn I met when Val and I went to visit Char in Baton Rouge. I was really nervous about meeting her, but the visit went really well.
fadingembers at Animazement and Otakon. She is a real live kitty, folks, no joke. Also we share a brain, which is fun but scary because it means there's two of us.
fee at the Detroit eXpo in `98. Oy, that seems ages ago.
greyvorfeed at Animazement and Otakon. She is badass.
jennyo - Another HoE, at morp and Fest 2000. I sucked up and somehow she fell for it. XD
jynxthecat - Used to work together at Dairy Queen, the place I ran from screaming after three years.
lilydale used to be my pet newbie in OBSSE, but she rapidly outclassed me in the Niftiness Factor. It was cool to meet her at Fest `02, though.
lyria came to Val and me at Char's house and offered us food when all we had to eat were thin mints and dish rags, therefore we will both adore her to our dying day.
magibalthasar is Becky's boyfriend, so another person I knew before lj. We bonded a little bit over mutual irritation over an unnamed person.
I metmurasakineko at Fest `01 and was subsequently adoped. I love me some Charbie.
musicwench I met in a kingdom far away as a young bar maid...actually, she's Val's cool friend, but we went to a RenFaire together. Does that count?
sarcasticval is the love of my life on the weekends and a sharer of my brain the rest of the time. Wait...if she has half and Casey has half, does that leave me with none?
