I disagree. Folken Fanel (Escaflowne) has a mullet. Kenshin's hair is long all around, but somewhat longer in the back. Just my opinion though...

Why are anime characters allowed to look okay with mullets, but never real people? I would have had a lot less mental scarring in my life if the opposite were true.
