Eeeeeeeee!
Had to get that out...I'm in that hyper state where you just want to squeal, but I don't want to disturb my neighbors. Val and I had fun tonight; we actually left the floor. We actually went outside the dorm, in the rain no less. Scary, and extremely out of character. The potato skins and free dessert (for slow service, but it really wasn't bad so we gave a big tip) at Junction made it worth it. We also stopped at the comic shop (I want to bap Marvel for confusing me, or possibly the store's owner for not updating their issues in a timely fashion) and finished at Finder's CD store. Sale! I bought a Sailor Moon soundtrack and Patty Griffin's "Living With Ghosts" because I couldn't resist, and Meril Bainbridge's "The Garden" and a Mila Mason CD for 99 cents for both! I love the bargain bin. There were also free CDs from a local act, so five new CDs in one night! Not a bad haul. Afterwards I ate my last Cadbury egg--the season of Easter bloating has begun, so I want to stop by Chilly's sometime this week to pick up more. Wheee! Right now I'm working on Dirty Old Man: A Love Story after editing a rant for Megan's Fic Bitch page. Listening to Tori...I don't know why, but Boys For Pele is a great album to write fic to. It has nothing to do with the meanings of the songs or anything, it just creates a good atmosphere for me. Who knows.
I'm still sad that weather prevented Emma from visiting this weekend, but I met a Sailor Moon friend, Val and I are having quality hang time, and the roomie is gone, so there's some silver lining. Someone just remind me to study and work on papers tomorrow. *pre-emptive BAP to self*
