An unexpected finish

So yeah, I finished my first solo non-parody Trigun fic. It's cool. I like it. And thanks to the wonders of dictionary.com, it now has a title--Interjascence. "The state of being between; a coming or lying between or among; intervention; also, that which lies between." "Wild Monkey Love: Just Kidding", which Kiri suggested, just didn't ring true. I didn't expect to end it where I did. It's got sort of a "Lady or the Tiger" riff, though not nearly as aggravating. I was trying to mess with Kiri's head and told her it was the end, but she liked it there and I was persuaded. Of course, if you must have resolution, you'll hate it, but I kind of like it being more about their issues and reservations than so much kissyface. Though you know that's why I started it.

Tonight or tomorrow I might start the next fic from the rack of ideas. This one doesn't really have an end, but that's never stopped me before, right?
